“I am 39 years old and a mother of 4 In addition to fostering 2 kids. I started powerlifting about 5 years ago and at that time was at my biggest weighing in over 300 pounds. When I started this 12 week challenge 11 weeks ago I weighed in at 260. Since this journey I am now down to 238 and have not lost any strength. If anything I have gained strength. I work full time and care for my kids so committing to this challenge was a huge sacrifice. There were days when I didn’t want to do it and would force myself to continue on in the hopes of achieving my goals. My goals for this challenge was to lose 10-20 pounds while gaining strength and I believe I nailed it!!! I feel confident and determined to continue on this journey to be the healthiest I can be for myself and my family. I will never be perfect at it, but if I continue on I know I can do anything. I have a great support system of people who want to see me succeed and continue to push me.”- Andrea
